Tanah Lot Temple
One of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and unforgetable sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu temple perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons.
The history of this temple is closely related to Dhang Hyang Niratha´s pilgrimage to Bali Island, here he spent the night while teaching the religion. Thus making Tanah Lot Temple one of the most important temple for Balinese Hindu.
At high tide, waves flood the causeways making it impossible to cross. At low tide, you may cross to view the rock base where the legendary ‘guardian’ sea snakes dwell in crevices .This natural spout is the source of holy water, priests at the fountain bless visitors by sprinkling holy water.
Beach JatiLuwih Rice Terrace
Jatiluwih has been known as the largest rice terrace landmarks in Bali. It offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The lush green paddy fields cascade in terraces from the upper reaches of volcanoes down to the deep valleys below as if sculpted from the mountain side.
The Jatiluwih rice terraces comprise over 600 hectares of rice fields following the flowing hillside topography of the Batukaru mountain range. From atop the hill, visitors can take in the fresh air, appreciate the scenic views, and embrace its peaceful atmosphere.
The Jatiluwih rice terraces are on the UNESCO World Heritage list making this a protected area. The Jatiluwih terraces are well kept and it’s not allowed to place any concrete buildings here.
Rice Field Bedugul (Ulun Danu Bratan Temple)
Bedugul is a mountain lake resort area in Bali, located in the centre-north region of the island.Enjoys a mild mountain weather due to its location at an altitude of about 1,500 metres (4,900 ft) above sea level and also serve as a home to Bali’s most scenic water temples. the area is surrounding by little mountains whose top are named Puncak Mangu. Across the lake to the south and facing the temple is Teratai bang Mountain, in the West are two mountains named Mount BatuKaru and Mount Tapak, with three lakes in it. Rising from the shore of one of the lake, the Lake Bratan, and spectacularly backdropped by one of Bali’s highest peaks, is Ulun Danu Temple. A fascinating window into Balinese history, culture and spirituality, this stunning temple and its surrounding landscape are a photographer’s dream.
ULUN DANU BRATAN is one of water temple on Bali. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in Bedugul, the mountain lake resort. Lake Bratan is the second largest lake in Bali, and is the source of irrigation for rice fields and plantations across the entire Bedugul Village. The main reason for Ulun Danu Beratan Temple’s popularity is that it floats on the lake.

Twin Lake View Point
TWIN LAKE VIEW POINT offers an incredible vantage point overlooking two of Bali’s most beautiful lakes. Buyan Lake is on the left side. It is smaller but the most scenic to look at. Next to it, Tamblingan Lake on the right side. It is covered a little by the forest. Both lakes separated by a rainforest-covered hill, almost 2km wide. Originally, the Twin Lakes were one single lake but around the year 1800, a massive landslide cut it in two parts.
Lake Buyan and Tamblingan the twin lakes dazzling the visitors due to its natural beauty is still very natural, nuance quiet, and peaceful. Located at altitudes of nearly 4000 feet, this is the heart of Bali's farming area, with coffee plantations, vegetable fields and traditional rice paddies covering the nearby slopes. Lake Tamblingan is important in the religious life of the local villagers who earn their livelihoods by fishing, farming and ferrying tourists and the devout by dugout canoe to the 31 temples located near the lake.
Waterfalls Taman Ayun
Literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’ and is generally regarded as one of the most attractive temples of Bali. The Taman Ayun temple is situated in a beautiful park with trees and ponds, near the village of Mengwi in the south of Bali at about 8 km southwest of Ubud and 18 km northwest of Denpasar.
a serene place of enveloping calm. The huge royal water temple of Pura Taman Ayun, surrounded by a wide, elegant moat, was the main temple of the Mengwi kingdom.The large, spacious temple was built in 1634 and extensively renovated in 1937. It's a spacious place to wander around, away from crowds.
